With the core vision to building and empowering future leaders, a new academic institute named Imperial International School, Dhaka (IISD) has announced its formal launch on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.

Following the most popular and widely acclaimed Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) Curriculum, IISD pledges to offer an educational excellence that transcends boundaries, shaping young minds for a global tomorrow.

The IISD authority announced the formal launch of the academy in a simple ceremony at its campus premises, nestled in an 18-storey Accord-Alliance approved building at Malibagh, Chowdhuripara, in the capital.

SLICL Chairman Noor-e-Hafza presided over the inaugural ceremony while renowned industrialist, former BGMEA President and founder of Sonali Life Insurance, MostafaGolamQuddus attended the event as the chief guest.

SLICL Director Sheikh Mohammad Daniel delivered introductory remarks and made a PowerPoint presentation demonstrating the special features and technological advantages, designed to be offered for the students in view to make the IISD different from other similar institutes.

While addressing, MostafaGolamQuddus said the IISD mainly aims to build its students so that they can lead in different fields’ both at home and abroad by meeting all the demands of global standards.

However, he emphasized upholding the culture and heritage of Bangladesh in every spheres of the IISD.  

SLICL Directors MostafaQuamrusSobhan and Omar Khayum, IISD Principal Ashraf Hossain, Rupali Insurance Adviser PK Roy, and several others also addressed the event, highlighting the paradigm shift taking place in the world of education.

While addressing the event, SLICL Chief Executive Officer Mir Rashed Bin Aman, stressed the importance of education in an ever changing landscape of technology and skills.

While addressing the soft launch, IISD Principal Ashraf Hossain stated that IISD would be more than just a place of learning; it is a realm of endless possibilities, offering world-class English Medium education from Play Group to A-Levels, all under the esteemed Cambridge Curriculum.

Senior officials from SLICL, Rupali Insurance, IISD teachers, students, and local elites were among the participants at the inaugural ceremony.
