The Great Almighty has created human being with the dignity of the highest quality of the creation. The secret of this excellence is to take the right path through conscience, intellect, and knowledge through truth-falsehood, good-evil, good-evil authentication. Therefore, human amenity is the name of selflessly devoting oneself to the service of others by reviving helpless, disadvantaged and frustrated people.

Loving people, loving voluntary organizations, staying away from violent reprisal, cooperating, contributing to humanitarian and social activities are part of our daily life. The goal of human being should be to serve humanity uninterruptedly by unselfishly opening the door of humanity.

Where is real happiness? Is there real happiness in sharing one's happiness by cheating to others? The enjoyment of the lifeless body is of no value to the satisfaction of the soul. As long as a person is happy to give happiness to others, it is not possible to achieve his true welfare.

Not only that, the person who desires the welfare of others, actually ensures his welfare. Motivation to work for the welfare of the people is found by linking social organizations. Positive qualities are created by joining social organizations. Leadership qualities are created in people. Increases responsibility, increases social responsibility. The basics of every social organization are the same. It teaches respect for the views of all in the social organization, fulfilling one's responsibilities as a member, developing oneself, being motivated to work together, and being tolerant.

The Vivekananda Study & Philanthropic Center of New York, USA was established with this objective in mind. Prakash Chakraborty is an educationist, philanthropist and ex-student Dhaka Ramakrishna Mission, an American expatriate who has been working tirelessly to promote education for the disadvantaged population of the society in several countries including Bangladesh. With his initiative, Ramakrishna Sebashrama was established in a neglected and remote village of Uttar Rowail in Mirzapur Upazila of Tangail district near Dhaka. Now, this Uttar Rowail Ramakrishna Sebashrama is a name of hope and confidence for all the people of the area.

As part of the new project of Vivekananda Study & Philanthropic Center of New York "Swami Aksharananda Bhavan" who played a pioneering role in Bangladesh at Ramakrishna Sevashrama, Uttar Rowail, Mirzapur, Tangail was inaugurated by Revered Swami Purnatmanandaji Maharaj, Head of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka along with Revered Swami Visheshawaranandaji Maharaj, Head of Ramakrishna Mission, Cumilla on Nov 26, 2021. The other 6 Revered Sadhus were present along with more than 500 devotees from nearest villages. Revered Swamijis expressed their highest satisfaction with the newly constructed Bhavan & it's modern facilities and sincere passion & spiritual interest by villagers in these remote areas. A total of 175 students from Swami Swahanandaji Free Coaching Center at Ashrama presented their best performance. Everyone was moved from their own place. It was all possible due to daily guide by Revered Shaktinathanandaji (Nikhil Maharaj), Head of Ramakrishna Mission, Chittagong, and dedicated selfless work by Revered Vivek Maharaj and his team of volunteers, utmost cooperation from Engineer Dipankar Pandit of Dhaka and Engineer Swapan Paul of LGED. Revered President Mahararaj Srimat Swami Smarananandaji and Honorable General Secretary Maharaj Revered Swami Suviranandaji of Belur Math, Revered Swamis Chetananandaji, Head of St. Louis, Missouri & Sarvadevanandaji, Head of Hollywood, California have sent their blessings message either by written message or video speech to grace this inauguration ceremony and provided all-out support and cooperation.

It may be mentioned here that Swami Aksharananda was born in Bangladesh and played a pioneering role in Bangladesh preaching the sermon and spirit of Swami Vivekananda and Sri Ram Krishna. He also played a very encouraging role in prevailing communal harmony in Bangladesh during his tenure in Bangladesh as the Head of Dhaka Ramkrishna Mission.

Even a few months ago, North Rowail was a neglected village in Mirzapur Upazila of Tangail district near Dhaka. It was like darkness under the lamp! Even after 50 years of independence, we had to see the image of such an isolated village along the main road, where about 2000 men and women live!

As per the announcement of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, a pragmatic plan has been made to transform 87,230 villages of the country into developed villages as part of the implementation of the "My Village-My City" program announced by the present government for building a developed Bangladesh by 2041. As part of this plan, the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) is collecting data on all the villages in the country without road connection and is implementing phases to connect those villages with the main road. As part of this, LGED has undertaken the implementation of a road development scheme through an ongoing development project to connect the neglected and isolated North Rowail remote village with the main road which is currently underway. The concerned Upazila engineer is regularly supervising these activities. Let's take a look at what is there or what is going on in this village. The village has already been established a “North Rowail Ramakrishna Sevashrama - which is gradually becoming a hope of the area. The Sarada-Nivedita Shishu Niketan's activities for the development of children's talents are being carried out by constructing a facility here. Provision of stipends to students and assistance in higher education and medical assistance to the poor, music training for children and adolescents. Participating in the "Free Coaching Center" are the poor and helpless students from around 15 villages, irrespective of race, religion, and caste, among whom free educational materials, uniforms, and tiffin are being provided. To maintain the continuity of all the activities of Sevashrama, the work of the "Master Plan" for the infrastructural development of Sevashrama for the implementation of all types of services is progressing at a fast pace. The Swami Aksharananda Bhavan was inaugurated as part of the master plan, and work on the Swami Vivekananda Education and Cultural Center, which will soon become a meeting place for people of all communities irrespective of caste and creed. Concerned parties have said that it will start soon.
The man who has been working tirelessly day and night for the Vivekananda Study & Philanthropic Center of New York, USA, with the overall support and funding of this huge project, is Prakash Chakraborty, a former student of Notre Dame College and Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka.

If our other expatriate friends like Prakash Chakraborty had come forward for the socio-economic development of their respective areas, we would have seen a developed and prosperous Bangladesh before 2041. Vivek Maharaj is one of those who are directly working for the implementation of this project in Uttar Rowail, Mirzapur. The immense gratitude of those who are associated with this great initiative and today's neglected North Rowail will play a significant role in building a better Bangladesh in the days to come - this is the expectation of all of us.
